Innovative Finnish outdoor company Halti has gone all-in for this one. The lucky winner gets one Halti Settler 3L DrymaxX ski jacket and pant, along with one Planker jacket and matching Trusty ski pant, two Streams fleece mid-layers and two Hossa merino wool baselayer sets.
The Settler 3L uses Halti’s incredibly breathable DrymaxX Nano membrane. The fabric in the Settler is bluesign approved, with a 50% recycled polyester content, and the PFC-free DWR treatment is 42% plant-based. The Nano tech provides excellent waterproofing, but the real stand-out is just how breathable it is, making it a superb choice for active skiing.
This pairs wonderfully with the matching Settler pant, featuring the same material benefits. The Planker jacket delivers breathable waterproofing courtesy of Halti’s bluesign-approved DrymaxX YX Recy fabric. It’s made using 100% recycled content and has a PFC-free DWR treatment.
Warmth comes in the form of Microtherm Dynamic insulation, ideal to keep the cold at bay without overheating when skiing hard.
The matching Trusty ski pant uses the same materials, with a slightly lighter weight Microtherm Dynamic insulation as your legs generate more heat when skiing. Both outfits feature ski-specific features, including a powder skirt, lift pass pocket, zippered venting, adjustable removable suspenders on the trousers and internal snow gaiters.
You can choose from a women’s or men’s version of each outfit.
Along with the outerwear, Halti’s providing two Streams insulating mid-layers. Constructed with 35% recycled polyester, the Streams is a super-comfy full-length zip fleece, with a smart look that will make it a staple part of your wardrobe all year.
The cherry on the Halti prize cake is the Hossa merino baselayer set, including a crew neck long-sleeve top and full-length leggings. Like all the outfits mentioned here, the Hossa is available in women’s and men’s versions.
