We’ve landed Arcteryx’s new women’s freeride-touring outfit to give away to one lucky lass.
Step aside gents.
Or rather, step aside single gents (unless you have a sister, mum, daughter or friend to whom you could gift this fabulous prize).
In honour of our very first Family Special (out end of Jan)– a whole issue dedicated to skiing en famille – we have picked as our prize an outfit just for females.
What exactly is the Sentinel LT? Well for a start it’s brand new this year, using the latest tech and design expertise from those snow-crazy Canadians. Weatherproof and versatile, it’s built for freeride and touring action, with a long length that gives extra warmth and protection from the elements (as well as being rather flattering). The Sentinel LT, worth £500, has a helmet-compatible Stormhood, pack-compatible pit zips, integrated powder skirt and brilliantly configured pockets (two hand and two chest pockets with zippers, an internal dump pocket and an internal laminated pocket with zip). Not to mention that classic Arc feeling provided by the sleek three-layer Gore-Tex with Gore C-Knit backer. The matching Gore-Tex pants, worth £410, are a classic blend of form and function.
LT stands for lightweight (the jacket weighs 565g), which makes it packable as well as a joy to wear, but the Sentinel is also robust and durable.
Believe us, it will become your best buddy on mountain adventures everywhere – whether with family or friends.
