2020 Women’s Freeride Ski of the Year – Head Kore 93 W

New for winter 2020, the women’s Kore range (Kore 93 W and Kore 99 W) have been built with exactly the same construction as the immensely popular men’s series – there’s no shrink it and pink it here!
The same high performance Kore materials (a combination of graphene, karuba and koroyd) have been used in the new women’s skis, the only difference being that Head have altered the range of sizes available and moved the mounting point further forward. The result? A couple of awesome looking winter weapons for women with two feet firmly in a freeride frenzy.
Whilst we loved both skis in the new women’s Kore range (there’s a 99 too), the ever-so-slightly narrower Kore 93 W just snatched it when it came to choosing our overall fave due to its slightly more poppy feel and versatile nature. Equal parts light, responsive, nimble and balanced, the more we put into the Kore 93, the more we got back – all over the mountain.
Immensely popular on test, the Kore 93 W scored highly with the Fall-Line female test team with Amy describing it as “perfect for a whole range of intermediate to advanced skiers looking to push their performance in crud, pow and hard pack.”
And at just £665 with Tyrolia Attack 12 GW binding, they’re bangin’ value too.
