Both backpacks (available in a range of colours) feature the extremely light and compact 690g Avabag airbag system.
Remove the compressed gas canister and you can practice activating the bag over and over again, so you’re good to go if the shizzle hits the freeride fan.
The great thing about the Avabag system is that due to its small size there is plenty of room to store other things in the backpack.
The Ascent 30 is the ideal airbag backpack for day ski tours, with 30 litres of volume to carry everything you need – safety equipment, a hydration system, a change of clothes and a snack… everything has its place. The foamed 3D back system ensures it is super-comfy, too.
The Ascent 28 S Avabag has all the same top specs at the 30, but is designed for women, with a shorter back system as well as hip and shoulder straps adapted to the female anatomy. It is also suitable for men with shorter backs.
The Avabag system is removable from both backpacks for days when you just want to cruise the groomers.
