Here are some of the top skill sessions on offer around the UK this summer at popular ski slopes in the UK…

1. ABERDEEN SNOWSPORTS CLUB
Take your skills to the next level and join in with weekly expert-led evening sessions. Aimed at all levels (apart from total beginners), sessions last two hours, and cost £68, plus club membership for a four-week block.

2. MIDLOTHIAN SNOWSPORTS CENTRE
The second longest dry slope in Europe – at 980m – offers open coaching to adults who are at plough parallel level and above. Two-hour sessions run during school term time on Monday and Friday mornings for just £16 a go, and aim to help you develop more fluidity and tackle steeper terrain.

3. TAMWORTH SNOWDOME
The Summer Slopestyle Series open jam sessions return with a full park setup over three evenings (you’ll have missed the one on 3 May, but can still catch the 7 June and 5 July events), with rails, kickers and creative park features to test your skills. Open to all ages, sessions run from 7-10pm and cost £47 for adults and £36 for under 15s.

4. SNOZONE MILTON KEYNES & YORKSHIRE
Become a member at one of the two UK Snozones and enjoy 50% off lift passes and group lessons, plus get a free one-hour lift pass for anytime on Tuesdays. Private and group lessons are also available, or get the whole family involved for a private family lesson. 11. LLANDUDNO SNOWSPORTS CENTRE
The North Wales Snowsports Club runs a selection of improver sessions, race training and freestyle sessions throughout the year at Llandudno Snowsports Centre for all ages. Sessions start from £20 or at a reduced rate for members (membership costs just £20).
