Rossignol Nova 10

Rossignol Nova 10 review
They say
Women skiers embody femininity and style, but they are also determined and daring; the Nova is as intuitive and subtle as they are… until they step on the gas.
We say
The Nova 14 may wear the crown in Rossignol’s women’s piste lineup, but we’d question the need to spend the extra £100 when the Nova 10 delivers such delicious power, precision and energy. It’s got all the top-tier thrills, just slightly less bling.
Overview
Rossignol has revamped its Nova series with a new range of women’s piste skis. The Nova 10 is technically not the flagship model, but don’t be fooled by the hierarchy. This is a composed, elegant charger that takes whatever you throw at it—then comes back asking for more. Whether slicing smooth arcs or testing edge limits, the Nova 10 remains unflustered, proving itself as a true high-performance piste companion.
Spec performance
The new Nova 10 sports longer lengths and a slightly fatter profile—7mm wider in the tip, 1mm in the waist and 3mm in the tail compared to its predecessor. Radius increases slightly in the longer sizes. Its Boost Flex construction—Titanal underfoot with a sustainably sourced poplar wood core—adds muscle without sacrificing subtlety. Rossignol’s Carbon Alloy Matrix (CAM) offers a touch of magic in smoothing out the ride, and the new V-Profile tech dials in grip and flex. A slight front rocker helps with turn initiation and keeps things fluid into the carve.
Skier compatibility
Advanced and expert-level skiers are squarely in this ski’s sweet spot—especially those who like their piste weapon to deliver quick response, edge hold and power on tap. Comfortable carving red runs at moderate to high speeds? The Nova 10 should be high on your radar. If you’re an upper intermediate looking to up your game and don’t shy away from a ski with some bite, this could be your perfect upgrade. Lighter or less aggressive skiers should look instead to the Nova 8.
Conclusion
When we tested it, we were floored by just how much performance Rossignol has packed into this “mid-tier” ski. Nicola’s verdict says it all: “Holy cowbells! I love this ski. What an energetic carver.” That’s not marketing hyperbole—it’s genuine piste passion. It’s nimble when you want it to be, stable when you need it to be, and most alive when you’re letting off the brakes. With 9s and 10s across the board, the Nova 10 isn’t just one of the best women’s piste skis this year—it might be the smartest buy in the whole category.
