V’lkl – VTA 98
VTA? More like WTF? But while this ski might look and feel surprising out of the wrapper, it certainly won’t disappoint on the mountain. Volkl have put tons of recent investment into touring ski technology, so they have packed a lot of weight-saving but performance-enhancing features into these. Like packing some proper timber underfoot, yet shaving shape and weight from the fancy carbon tip. Clever! The result – a super lightweight ski for the width, that gives you plenty of floaty fun where you need it and saves valuable grams where you don’t.
