Nordica – Enforcer 100
Such an exciting ski – slightly older-school than the other 100mm options because you still need to be on your game, especially when the speed or slope picks up, but the Enforcer truly delivers across all terrain, with that unique shovel-like head giving some serious float off-piste. Real grip and power at all speeds keeps the thrill factor high when arcing turn after glorious turn on-piste as well, thanks to top level construction and a powerful laminate construction featuring plenty of metal. This is a ski which can genuinely rocket you out of a turn. Get over it, unweight and feel the surge as you drop into the next turn. After a season in production it seems as though the testers have warmed to the Enforcer 100 even more, which places it right at the top of Ellis Brigham’s pile for freeride skis, with similar mentions from the Snowtrax team. The only reason to think twice is if you want to try the 93mm version which is a touch more forgiving.
