K2 – Missconduct

Not only is the K2 Missconduct dirt cheap, it’s one of the best women’s park skis we’ve come across in a while; grippy in the pipe, floaty over jumps, as well as lightweight and nimble for rails. Plus, as an added bonus, all these characteristics make it a great all-mountain ski, too. This year K2 have redesigned it with a little more width underfoot for a better platform in the thick stuff. As with all K2 skis, it was smooth as anything everywhere we took it, and we were surprised at how well it carved – but especially surprised at how well it took on moguls. While in many respects the Missconduct is a dedicated park ski, K2’s all-terrain rocker serves up traditional camber underfoot with a light rocker at the tip and tail for a bit of light pow-slaying, crud bashing and rock hopping when you need a break from the park. It’s also got a springy aspen core with a tri-axial woven fibre backbone underfoot, which is what K2 call the Park Flex Pattern ‘ this makes the ski nice and stiff in the middle for responsive steering power and unparalleled grip, while the tip and tail remain softer for increased pop and solid pressing prowess. Our number one choice for park riders of all levels; the price (and tried and tested durability) makes it a great for weekly freestyle nights at your local indoor slope, while its playfulness and versatility make it super-fun to ski all over the mountain.
