9 ski Instagrams you need to follow

Does your Instagram feed need more of the white, fluffy stuff? Then these are the people to follow…

Best for pure adventure… Chris Davenport

Colorado-based skier/mountaineer Chris Davenport travels the world in pursuit of big lines and ski adventures and his Instagram is a testament to that. This winter alone he has shared shots from remote Canadian lodges, forests in Japan and glaciers in the Antarctic.

Best for arty selfies… Sierra Quitiquit

Fashion model / hard-charging skier Sierra’s feed is a mix of arty selfies, big mountain lines and the occasional fashion shoot. An odd combination, but strangely compelling.

Best for nomadic types… Fabian Lentsch

This young Austrian ripper is currently travelling around the Middle East in a converted fire engine and his Instagram feed is getting more exciting by the day. Warning: Following his feed may incur a serious case of wanderlust.

Best for cheap laughs… Jerry of the Day

If you haven’t come across the sensation that is Jerry of the Day then hang your head in shame. This is where the internet comes to laugh at skiers who just can’t get it right, whether it’s wearing skis backwards, sporting an oversized helmet cam or heroically missing a landing.

Best for getting inspired… Lynsey Dyer

Lynsey is as talented an artist as she is a skier and amongst the usual powder porn she drops in the odd bit of artwork along with some rather insightful and inspirational captions.

Best for stunning photography… Oskar Enander

There’s a lot of very talented ski photographers sharing their goodies on Instagram but one of our favourites is Fall-Line regular and current Guest Editor Oskar Enander. His feed is the perfect mix of bluebird ski days, moody landscapes and behind the scenes insights.

Best for raw footage… Tanner Hall

This guy is all about the video, usually of him hitting mad features in the BC backcountry. Though do expect the occasional still of him mid-huck, golden locks flowing behind him…
