Innsbruck based crew “Legs Of Steel” will release their first movie “The Pilot” this autumn.
The group of four, three Germans and one Englishman, joined forces last season to leave their mark on the European freeski scene.
They call themselves “Legs Of Steel“. Of course, they chose that name with tongue in cheek, but actually it is not that far from the truth. Bene Mayr, Tobi Reindl, Thomas Hlawitschka and Paddy Graham are widely renown heroes of the international freeski scene who have proven themselves many times in contests like the “European Open” or the “London Freeze” and made great appearances in movie productions like “Aestivation“.
Beginning of last winter the four freeskiers decided that they could achieve even more as a group. They all moved to Innsbruck, arguably the ski capitol of the Alps, and shared a house as their common base. The “Legs Of Steel” were born. The aim was from the beginning to leave a mark on the European freeski scene and to raise the bar for crews in the Alps. And that?s exactly what they did!
Next to their numerous other obligations they went out as much as they could to independently film at the hot spots of the surrounding mountain ranges. From the backcountry powder of Davos and the Montafon to the huge kickers in the Kaunertal and at Nine Knights.
The result is spectacular. The first ever movie of “Legs Of Steel”, full of mind-blowing action and aptly named “The Pilot”, is about to launch this autumn. It will be available for free on the internet and promises almost half an hour of freeskiing extravaganza. However, “Legs Of Steel” are not only about this movie project. Check out their brand new website www.legsofsteel.eu for their full scape of projects and also to keep track of the movie?s release date.
