THE FREERIDE WORLD TOUR – TOP 5 BACKFLIPS OF ALL TIME

It’s time to put those big aerial pants on ‘cos the Freeride World Tour is back!

All the action gets underway this weekend in Hakuba, Japan and with legends like Travis Rice on the line-up, the first stop looks set to be a belter.

The Hakuba competition kicks off in just 4 days time with the weather window running from January 19th-26th.

2019 proposes one of the most exciting rider line-up FWT has ever seen, with burning hot rookies, top wild-cards, and legends defending their throne. The sport is progressing massively every season with jaw-dropping action, fed by a wave of emerging talents from the Junior (FJT) and Qualifier (FWQ) series. The other super promising news is the FWT development in Japan with 4 Qualifier events, 4 Junior events, and 7 FWT Academies filling the calendar of the land of the rising sun (and light powder).”
— Nicolas Hale-Woods, Freeride World Tour CEO

You can watch the best of the best lay down their finest skills in the legendary Japow live on the FWT site, Facebook, or YouTube.

In the meantime here’s some bodacious backflips to help fuel the stoke levels for the season ahead.
