The British Ski & Snowboard Show 2010

The British Ski & Snowboard Show will be returning to Birmingham's NEC from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 October.

It's a chance to a take a whistle-stop tour of an huge array of stands from tonnes of different resorts around the globe (India to the US to Europe).

Holiday companies, tour operators and independent owners will offer exclusive show deals with over 150 exhibitors showcasing the latest fashions, trends and innovations with new product launches as well as all the kit needed from leading manufacturers such as new skis, boards, boots and bindings, etc.

Novices and experienced skiers and snowboarders alike can take to the indoor skills slope to brush up on techniques and get expert tuition from skilled instructors. Plus there will be demonstrations from specialist athletes from the UK and Europe.

In the Talk Theatre, visitors can get expert advice on everything from travelling and fitness to driving and surviving avalanches by attending one of many workshops and seminars hosted by special guests and winter sport experts.

And for those who enjoy their winter sport from the comfort of an armchair, organisers are planning to launch a Winter Film Festival which will premiere the latest skiing and snowboarding movies and documentaries.

Sponsored by the Daily Telegraph, the show is open from 12noon until 8pm on Friday and 10am until 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are now on sale and prices range from as little as £6.50 for adults when purchased in advance and child tickets costing £2.50 each throughout the show.
