New skis at Ellis Brigham, the Ski & Board show is coming… it’s the newsThe British Ski and Board Show 2010 is ramping up its PR in lieu of October’s event which is set to be one of their biggest yet.
Taking place at Brimingham’s NEC over 29-31 October the show is a one-stop opportunity to check all the latest gear and travel destinations under one roof. In addition a load of handy workshops and off-the-wall stunt demos will be going on to keep you entertained. Check it out www.britishskiandboardshow.co.uk.
Hadouken!, Roni Size, Bedouin Soundclash and Skindred are some of the first acts confirmed to play at this year’s Freeze festival taking place 29-31 October at Battersea Power Station. That’s not all though, the Nextmen, MC Dynamite, Scratch Perverts and a host of others are already on the bill. Tickets are onsale, check it out www.thefreezefestival.com.
It’s only three weeks to the first comp of the Westbeach Snowflex Freestyle Series and Freeze have bundled in on the act to offer three pairs of tickets to the festival. Add to that Stepchild and Airblaster booty and the comp is looking more and more enticing. DJs, The Dub Smugglers will be bring the bass to Halifax and Noeux Les Mines. Crystal Ski have launched their 2011 winter brochure. Inside you’ll find trips to three continents, 11 countries and 131 ski resorts! In 38 of the countries they will be offering Crystal Ski+ packages that include the lift pass into the price of the holiday. Snow-Camp Everest Challenge 2011 report a fantastic sign-up so far with Team Norton Rose and Team Zeal laying down the corporate gauntlet! Rebecca Dallison, one of our individual sign-ups is an instructor at Hemel Ski Slope and she will be auctioning lessons starting at £15 on the 21 and 22 August as part of her fundraising. The Everest Challenge is happening 27 – 30 January 2011. Just £185 secures your place and minimum sponsorship is £1500.
