Four freestyle competitions in the first half of the 2011 World Cup

A total of four freestyle contests are scheduled for those riders competing for the crown of the new established Freestyle World Cup of the 2011 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, combining halfpipe, big air and slopestyle comps.

According to this, one halfpipe contest and three big airs are scheduled in Europe and Asia until the turn of the year.

On 30 October, the riders kick off their freestyle season with a big air at the London Freeze festival. After the ramp performance on the British Isles, it’s time for the traditional glacier stop at Saas-Fee; on 4 and 5 of November, it’s all about style, flow, spins and grabs in the pipe.

Two weeks later another big air takes place at the Winterjam in Stockholm (SWE) on 20 November. Seoul, Korea, will witness the last freestyle act of 2010 with a big air in the city centre on 3 December.

The Freestyle World Cup schedule for 2010:

30 October 2010 Big Air London Freeze
4-5 November 2010 Halfpipe Saas-Fee
20 November 2010 Big Air Stockholm
3 December 2010 Big Air Seoul
