Freeride or Big Mountain? Classic Big Mountain riders like Phil Meier head to the 'Pure' end of the rack before boarding their helicopter; it's not because they spurn advances like rocker, it's just that this skis like a hoofing great GS ski which means it's more for the big line merchant rather than the cliff droppers. It does work on piste, too, though we found it a bit much for the Slalom World Cup event we entered. The grip fooled us into thinking we could do it all. Never mind, there's always next year.
