Brought in last season to what can best be described as bemusement in the UK, the maple laminate (aka skate deck construction) Afterbang is now gaining traction, particularly amongst the UK local slope riders. It's a true twin designed to have the bindings mounted centrally (like the Stepup). If you use it for what it's designed for, it makes plenty of sense.
