One of the new breed of aggressive piste skis which says, quite clearly, "I am into leaning and turning and if that's not your bag, see ya". As one of the narrowest-waisted skis here, turn initiation and feel is right up there. Just as well the grip is up to par too. To extract the slalom-style performance you need to be working hard, but the Contact Groove Fluid isn't a total monster - you can relax to a degree as you work out just how effective these fast-turning numbers can be.
