Comes with an interchangeable sole offering both a vibram and an alpine hybrid sole unit, so if you're not fully committed to touring you can stomp the boot into an alpine binding. Offers a soft flex for skinning up but, when the steeps appear, the clip locks the boot down for a stiff forward flex of around 120.
