Got a pair of these mid season and have now skied 3 weeks on them.
I was not bothered about the eco credentials of this boot. It's a nice thing to have but for me the fit is more important. I was suggested these during the fit process at Rivington Alpine (who did a cracking job).
The Shape is molded from Atomic stock So there is nothing usual about that shape.
They do feel good on my feet and are very positive. Once on they can stop on all day buckled up and feel good.
The only down side I can see is wear on the heels and soles. I don't mind walking in ski boots and these seemed to have worn more than I would like. The heel plate in not replaceable either.
I am due to do a full season with them, lets see how they hold up.
Other than the walking wear I do not see any downside on them.
