The first pro model in the Artec line features state of the art blunt twin tip design, dual density sidewall for a buttery tip and tail and response between the bindings. Other than the extruded base it's pro model performance for £280.00. On test it was generally raved about although a few riders found it 'flappy' at speed. Essentially it's going to be a board more suited to an intermediate rider. The extruded base is an obvious drawback if you're looking for all mountain performance although to get an Aspen core and carbon fibre at this price is remarkable.
