Loads of snow in the alps at the moment.
Perhaps not as much as the UK but enough to find plenty of fresh tracks. The season so far has been pretty good. I have mostly been skiing with Ben Hawker (aka Bungle) who I live with and Tony McWilliam (aka the guy behind Faction Skis).
Dave Young is out here making a good job of the park, keeping the jumps and rails shaped well and Nick Southwell comes skiing occasionally when not pre occupied with off slope social activities.
So far it has been all about the powder lines. The sun has not been out too much so it has been mainly tree skiing but we have done some hiking out and about away from everyone else to do some filming. The picture is taken from a video clip of Ben Hawker doing a pillow line in a place called Siviez which is linked to Verbier.
Tomorrow I will be getting out the park skis and having a jump and rail session with Dave Young on his day off. Will probably do some filming too so expect a few videos soon!
Cheers, Andy
We have had a few pretty good days here in Verbier lately
Suprisingly the best turns we had were over at a place called "highway"
