Gents... Happy New Year!!
We have some über snow in the Scottish Highlands right now...
...and Gav and I have been reunited after he made the call of heading to the Italian Alps when it was going off in our own backyard. We took a bit of a hike up around our local hills near Aviemore and have found some rather impressive lines, cliffs and landscapes; not to mention the usual gnarly stuff up near Cairngorm that we usually mess about in.
This is the first time in 16 years that either of us can remember there being this much snow and all the drops are on right now so this means that we're raring to go and pull some stuff together for you.
Are you interested in an article about skiing in Scotland, the angle of which has not been completely bottomed out yet, but we're working on it? I've attached a few rough and ready images from today's recce in the flat light, but will return once the overhead weather gets a bit more favourable.
