My legs are still killing me

Luke Potts, Verbier

My legs are still killing me from the last few days skiing we have done! We had a bit of snow and the cliffs were on so we headed up with a few new guys.

We were joined by fellow Brit Luke Potts and two kiwi dudes called Frazer and Tom. We were just skiing Verbier doing the small stuff that is accessible from the lifts with a few small traverses.

We hit up a small cliff band at the bottom of the Mont Gele face which has some really good take off points. Frazer and Tom were launching Lincoln Loops and Rodeos off them which got us Brits pumped up enough to at least do a straight jump off them. It was a good day of cliff dropping and it was great we found so many fresh lines without having to hike anywhere.

The next day we headed over to Bruson and had a similar day. Even though the cloud came in during the afternoon we had loads of stuff to do in the trees. It was our first trip over to Bruson this season and was a good day to go. It was a monday and the day after a snowfall. The resort was pretty much empty so we had the mountain to ourselves. Most people who head over there either go off touring or spend the day in the trees on a bad weather day. This makes it really easy to find fresh stuff.

Today I am off to Davos and the snow report is good so I'll let you know how I get on in the next blog.
